We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our newest constituency branch in Newick. Formally adopted at the Constituency Executive meeting on Friday 22nd September 2005 we are all very excited at the prospect of working with the Newick branch.

"It is great news that we have a new branch in Newick. It is always very pleasing to see more people getting involved with the party and I look forward to working with them towards Lib Dem gains in the Newick area." said Norman.

District Council leader Ann De Vecchi added, "It is a great boost for us to have a new branch active in the Newick area. Their presence will allow us to bring greater focus to our push to win the Newick district council seat in 2007."

Richard Harpley, Chair of Newick Lib Dems, outlined the branch's ambitions saying, "We are committed to increasing membership and ensuring that new and existing members alike enjoy their participation with the local party."

"We intend to run regular events and would be interested to hear from anyone that would like to be involved." added Membership Secretary Linda Faulke. If you would like to know more about getting involved with Newick Liberal Democrats then give them a call on 01825 723658.
