Local Lib Dems are working for more investment in Seaford.

Local Lib Dem councillors have won a funding boost for Cradle Hill Community Centre in Seaford.

The grant has been given by Awards for All which is funded by the Arts Council England, the Big Lottery Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Sport England.

The money will allow expansion of the facility to take place more than doubling the size of the existing Community Centre.

"It's a great boost for local people." says local Lib Dem councillor, Tracy Willis. "We went up to John Prescott's constituency in Hull to see the sorts of things they have been undertaking there. We want to get the best deal for the local community here in Seaford and are keen to learn from successes elsewhere."

Town Council Leader, Jon Freeman, adds: "This is a tremendous boost for local people, and shows the kind of things that committed local campaigners can achieve. I'm sure that residents will welcome this grant, and look forward to making use of the expanded Community Centre."
