Meetings in July between the parish, district and county councils continue to progress plans for improving road safety on the C7 and C324. The Local Area Transport Strategy is nearing completion and once approved can be used to secure funding for traffic-calming measures. "Piddinghoe is currently used as a rat-run, so it is important that measures are put in place to improve safety for local residents" says local councillor, Melanie Cutress.
