Local Lib Dems have campaigned against the Tory burner for many years.

Local Lib Dem councillors are organising a coach of protesters to go to the High Court on Monday 21st July, to oppose planning permission for the Newhaven Incinerator.

The High Court are urgently considering the case filed against planning permission for the incinerator.

The coach leaves Newhaven Sainsburys at 7.30am and will depart London at 4.30pm, arriving back in Newhaven around 6.30pm.

50 people are needed to reduce the cost to £10 per person. Anyone interested must book by calling councillor Carla Butler on 07876 162395 by lunchtime on Sunday (20th July).
