Carolyn has lived in Seaford since 2000
She is a highly experienced, long-serving local councillor, with a strong track record of working actively on behalf of her residents.
She is a practical problem solver who believes that people matter more than politics and that local councillors should concentrate on delivering local services for local people.
Carolyn has been Mayor of Seaford, Chair of Lewes District Council and as well as being a County Councillor is currently Vice-Chair of East Sussex Fire Authority.
Carolyn works hard to reach out to residents by way of regular street surgeries. She asks people directly about their issues and concerns. She also keeps in touch through her popular monthly newsletter which goes to people all over Seaford, keeping residents in contact with local issues.
In her spare time, Carolyn continues to knit socks and sing although not at the same time, and is editing her second book for publication by Routledge later in 2017.
