East Sussex Children's Centres under threat

East Sussex County Council is consulting on a scheme to close 14 of the County's 26 Children's Centres, including those in Newhaven, Seaford, Ringmer and Chailey. These cuts will come at the expense of some of the most deprived communities in the county. The County Council claims to be building in better targeting, but, as Lewes Bridge and Ringmer Councillor Philip Daniel, has already said, their budget proposals are all "smoke and mirrors".

Please sign our petition to keep services open and accessible for all the families and children who need them.

Petition:

We, the undersigned, object to the closure of the Children's Centres in Newhaven, Seaford, Ringmer and Chailey. Children's Centres support some of our most vulnerable families and it is vital that these services continue.
