COVID: where are we now and where are we going?

As the first anniversary of national COVID control measures approaches and vaccines are being rolled out across the country, join us for an opportunity to stake stock of where we are and where we might be heading with local member Dr Maggie Wearmouth. Maggie is a retired NHS consultant, a semi retired local GP, a vaccinator and a long term member of the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation. She will be joining us for an online discussion on Monday 22nd February at 7pm.

Maggie plans to talk about primary care (everything that is not COVID) and how the focus on COVID has affected health services and patients, local vaccination services and her experiences as a vaccinator and future planning in the fight against the virus. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask Maggie questions.

This event does not have an entrance fee but if you are able to make a small donation of £3-£5 to cover costs, that will be greatly appreciated. Joining details will be sent out after registration so please look out for the email acknowledging your RSVP.
