Oli lives in Lewes with his wife and two young children. He is a charity worker with over 10 years’ experience in community engagement for a just and sustainable future through an open and inclusive democracy. He has worked on participation, sustainable development and governance around the world including in South America, Eastern Europe and North Africa, with a range of international bodies.
In his roles at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and at CIVICUS, he has worked to promote citizen participation and inclusion; he has campaigned for policy change on Welfare to Work and rehabilitation services; and was very active on the development of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. He is deeply committed to working to ensure opportunities for all citizens, better opportunities for young people and a more sustainable economic model for the country.
