A talk by the founding chairman of YouGov, Peter Kellner
The UK lies at a dangerous cross-roads, with a government that seems intent on driving us towards an extreme ‘no deal’ Brexit, legendary pollster Peter Kellner joins us to discuss how we got here and how we can get out of this mess!
From 1969 to 2003 Peter Kellner was a journalist with The Sunday Times, New Statesman, The Independent, The Observer and the Evening Standard, as well as BBC's Newsnight.
Kellner became Chairman of new polling agency, YouGov, in 2001. He was then President of YouGov from 2007 until 2017 and is well known for his polling analysis and political insights.
He has also been a visiting fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, and the Institute for Policy Studies, London and is currently the chairman of NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) and Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Europe. He was born in Lewes in 1946.
