Say no to 4 storey buildings on Gorringes site!

Plans have been released for the redevelopment of the old Gorringes Auction Rooms site on Garden Street. The plans propose to add 10 houses in 8 buildings of up to four-storeys high.

While local Lib Dem Campaigners Kevin West and Joyce Bell are glad to see a vacant site brought to life, we are concerned that the development is out of keeping with the surrounding buildings and, at four storeys high, will have a negative impact on the area. It will block views to Cliffe, overlook houses on Tanners Brook, and neither the design nor the materials fit with the character of buildings in the area.

Please follow the link below and view the plans yourself.
