East Sussex Fire and Rescue faces funding cuts of £12m, with 50% reductions in the last 5 years, due to a reduction in the grant from central government. Our Conservative MP has voted consistently with the government on annual cuts to central grants for local authorities since elected. We are calling on her to reverse the cuts and to make good on her promise of extra money for the fire service. Its time for action and not words.
