20 is Plenty

We believe local communities should be allowed to call for 20mph limits in their area.

Speeding is something that affects many areas of our community but Denton Road is particularly affected and residents have had enough.

Denton Road is right by a school and children have to walk along this road to access it, but annoyingly some drivers treat the road like a race track and it's time safety measures were looked at.

It’s only a matter of time before a child is hit or there is a major accident, and we want East Sussex County Council to be proactive and put steps in place.

We petition East Sussex County Council to: - make Denton Road a 20mph zone taking into account the school and the dangerous bend - install a mirror on the bend by the Flying Fish warning traffic of possible oncoming vehicles - install digital signs warning people if they are speeding.
